98.170 Dissolution of commission.

and legislative body of the city, and the mayor and legislative body shall forthwith
decide whether the commission shall be dissolved or shall be continued. (2) If any commission is dissolved, all debts of the commission shall be first paid, and if any money remains in its hands from the proceeds of bond sales, such money
shall be paid to the commissioners of the sinking fund of the city, to be used as a
sinking fund for the bonds from the sale of which the money was derived. (3) Upon the dissolution of a commission, the mayor shall take charge of and preserve all the office furniture, fixtures, machinery, tools, instruments, books and papers,
and upon the appointment of another commission the same shall be turned over to
the new commission, unless the legislative body of the city provides, by ordinance,
for the sale or other disposition of the office furniture, fixtures, tools, instruments
and machinery. Effective: October 1, 1942
