97.710 Limit on expense to be incurred. Except with the approval of the city legislative body, the commission shall not incur for <br>maintenance purposes of the memorial, or permit the incurrence of, any liability or <br>expense exceeding the total funds derived or to be derived for any fiscal year by <br>appropriation from the city for such year, or the levying and collection of taxes for such <br>purpose in the fiscal year, supplemented by income from the memorial and by donations <br>in money or property reduced to money made to the commission for maintenance <br>purposes.
