96.110 Fourth, fifth and sixth-class cities may subscribe for stock in water companies. Any city of the fourth, fifth or sixth class may, with funds provided from the general levy <br>or from the sale of bonds, purchase stock in any corporation owning or operating or <br>organized for the purpose of owning or operating a waterworks within the corporate <br>limits of the city.
