76.610 Use of authority and procedures granted municipalities -- Terms in KRS Chapter 107 defined. Any metropolitan sewer district created in the manner provided in this chapter may, if the <br>board of such district deems it advisable, use the authority and procedures granted to <br>incorporated municipalities by KRS 107.010 to 107.220. When applied to metropolitan <br>sewer districts, terms used in KRS 107.010 to 107.220 shall be construed to mean the <br>following: &quot;city&quot; or &quot;municipality&quot; means &quot;metropolitan sewer district&quot; (except that in <br>KRS 107.090(1)(d), 107.130, 107.140(2)(a) and (c), and 107.150 referring to city taxes <br>the term &quot;city&quot; shall continue to mean &quot;city&quot;); &quot;ordinance&quot; means &quot;resolution&quot;; &quot;clerk&quot; <br>means &quot;secretary of the metropolitan sewer district&quot;; and &quot;mayor or chairman of the board <br>of directors&quot; means &quot;chairman of board of the metropolitan sewer district.&quot; Effective: July 15, 1986 <br>History: Amended 1986 Ky.
