Upon the written authorization of any police officers, firefighter personnel, firefighters, or <br>corrections personnel within a bargaining unit, the urban-county government shall deduct <br>from the payroll of the police officer, firefighter personnel, firefighter, or corrections <br>personnel the monthly amount of dues as certified by the secretary of the exclusive <br>bargaining representative, and shall deliver the same to the treasurer of the exclusive <br>bargaining representative.
