30A.180 Assignment as special circuit clerk to fill vacancy. In the event of a vacancy in the office of circuit clerk in any county, the Chief Justice may <br>assign any other circuit clerk in the Commonwealth as special circuit clerk to fill the <br>vacancy for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or until a person is appointed to fill <br>the vacancy as provided by law, whichever occurs first.
