Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS
Article 11.--SCHOOL ATTENDANCE, CURRICULUM AND ACCREDITATION

      72-1124.   Same; individualized educationplan.Instruction in Braille reading and writing shall be sufficient toenable each student to communicate effectively and efficiently at a levelcommensurate with such student's sighted peers of comparable grade level andintellect. The individualized education plan shall specify:

      (a)   How Braille will be implemented as the primary mode for learning throughintegration with normal classroom activities. If Braille will not be providedto a child who is blind, the reason for not incorporating it in theindividualized education plan shall be documented therein;

      (b)   the date on which Braille instruction will commence;

      (c)   the level of competency in Braille reading and writing to be achieved bythe end of the period covered by the individualized education plan; and

      (d)   the duration of each session.
