71-201b. Contracts; governed by Kansas law.(a) It is the public policy of the state of Kansas that allcontractsentered into bythe board of trustees of a community college, or any officers or employeesthereof acting onbehalf of the board, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance withthe laws of the state of Kansas.
(b) The board of trustees of a community college and any of its officers oremployeesacting on behalf of the board shall have no power to enter into acontract which providesthat the contract shall be governed by or interpreted in accordance with thelaws of a state otherthan the state of Kansas.
(c) The board of trustees of a community college and any officers oremployees thereofacting on behalf of the board shall have no power, pursuant to a contract, tosubmit to thejurisdiction of any court other than a court of the state of Kansas.
(d) The provisions of any contract entered into in violation of this sectionshall becontrary to the public policy of the state of Kansas and shall be void andunenforceable.
