66-523. Interstate bridges and ferries across Missouri river.Any railroad company in the states of Missouri and Kansas, runningto the Missouri river, dividing the state of Missouri from the state ofKansas, shall have the right to construct bridges and maintain ferriesacross the Missouri river. Said companies shall construct the necessarydraws to said bridges, so as not to interfere with the navigation of theriver; but such bridges and ferries shall not be used for any otherpurpose than for the crossing of freight and passengers transported onsaid road.
