Article 1.--POWERS OF STATE CORPORATION COMMISSION

      66-1,115.   Private motor carriers of property mustsecure licenses or permits.It shall be unlawful for any private motorcarrier to operate as a carrierof property or passengers within this state either in intrastate commerceor in interstate commerce without first having obtained from thecommission a license or permit or without being registeredpursuant to federal statutes. An applicationshallbe made to the commission in writing stating suchinformation asthe commission may request. Uponreceipt of such information and on compliance with the rules andregulations andpayment of fees, the commission shall issue a license orpermitto such applicant.
