65-4018. Inspections and investigations; rules and regulationsconcerning facility alteration or construction; preliminary inspections;consultations.The secretary shall make or cause to be made inspections andinvestigations as the secretary deems necessary. A licensee shallbe inspected at least once each licensing period. The secretary may adopt rulesand regulations that any licensee or applicantdesiring to make specified types of alteration or additions to itsfacilities or to construct new facilities shall before commencing suchalteration, addition or new construction, submit plans and specificationstherefor to the secretary of health and environment for preliminaryinspection and approval or recommendations with respect to compliance withthe standards and rules and regulations authorizedby Kansas statutes. Necessary conferences and consultations may be provided.
