65-2702. Powers and duties of secretary of health and environment.It shall be the duty of the secretary of health and environment toinquire into the composition of hazardous household articles, to determinetheir potentialities for harm, and take such steps as may be deemednecessary to protect the public from the use of hazardous householdarticles. To accomplish this end, the secretary is authorized to takesamples and cause them to be analyzed, to review labeling and advertising,and to require disclosure for formulas when necessary in the publicinterest.
