60-710. Sale of perishable property.When property shall be actually seized which is likely to perish or to materiallydepreciate in value before the probable termination of the suit, or thekeeping of which would be attended with unreasonable loss or expense, ajudge of the district court of the county where the suit is pending or wherethe property is located may order the same to be sold on such terms andconditions as the judge may direct, by the officer having charge of theproperty, and a return of the proceedings thereon shall be made by the officerat a time to be fixed by the judge. The return of the officer shall befiled with the clerk of the court in the county in which the suit is pending. The title of any purchaser at such sale shall not be affected by any proceedingsbrought under K.S.A. 60-309.
