59-1707. Powers of nonresident fiduciaries.Upon the filing for record in the district court of the proper county ofan authenticated copy of a fiduciary's letters or otherrecord of a fiduciary'sauthority and acertificate that they are still in force, a fiduciary appointed by acourt of competent jurisdiction in another state or country may assign,extend, release, satisfy or foreclose any mortgage, judgment or lien, orcollect any debts secured thereby, belonging to the estate represented bysuch fiduciary. The sale, lease or mortgage of any real estate acquired on executionor judicial sale by a foreign personal representative shall be made pursuant toarticle 23 of chapter 59.
