58-4117. Continuing education.(a) As a prerequisite to renewal of a certificate or license, the appraisershall present evidence satisfactory to theboard of having met the continuing education requirements.
(b) The basic continuing education requirement for renewal of a certificateor license shall be the completion by theapplicant, during theimmediately preceding term of certification or licensure, of the number ofhours ofclassroom instruction whichhave been established pursuant to K.S.A. 58-4109 and amendmentsthereto and which have received the approval of the board.
(c) No amendment or repeal of a rule and regulation adopted bythe board shall operate todeprive an applicant of credit toward renewal of a certificate or license forany courseof instruction completed by the applicant prior to the amendment or repealof the rule and regulation which would have qualified for continuingeducation credit under the rule and regulation as it existed prior to therepeal or amendment.
(d) A certificate or license that hasbeen revoked as a result of disciplinary action by the board shall not bereinstated unless the applicant presents evidence of completion of thecontinuing education required pursuant to this act.
