55-1623. Oil and gas regulation by commission;penalties, procedures.On and after July 1, 1998, no fine or other penalty, exceptcease and desist orders forwhich subsequent hearing is required, shall be imposed by the statecorporation commission pursuant to statutes or rules and regulations relatingto regulation of oil and gas production, sale or conservation except afternotice and an opportunity for hearing inaccordance with the Kansas administrative procedure act.
