      55-1,108.   Contractual obligations, whenamended.(a) Nothing inK.S.A. 55-1,101 through 55-1,107 shall be construed,or authorize the commission, to amend any contractual obligations between theperson offering gas gathering services and the complainant unless thecommission determines, after investigation, notice and hearing, that suchcontractual obligations are unjust, unreasonable, unjustly discriminatory orunduly preferential and adversely impact the public welfare.

      (b)   This section shall take effect and be in force on and after July 1,1997.
