50-149. Unfair discriminations.Any person, foreign or domestic, doing business inthe state of Kansas, and engaged in the production, manufacture,distribution, sale or purchase of any commodity in general use, that shallintentionally for the purpose of destroying competition, discriminatebetween the different sections, communities, or cities of this state, bybuying at a higher rate or selling at a lower rate, any such commodity, inone section, community or city, or any portion thereof, than is charged orpaid for such commodity in other section, community, or city, afterequalizing the distance from the point of production to the factory, fordistribution, and freight rates therefrom, shall be in violation with theprovisions of this act.
