48-237. Dues and fines; collection and disposition.Dues levied by the bylaws of any organization may be collected by civilsuit, without right of stay; and all suits for the collection of finesor dues shall be brought in the name of the state of Kansas for the useof the company or battery, but in no case shall the state pay any costsof such suit. In all criminal prosecutions for violations of theprovisions of this act, fines and penalties shall be paid to the statetreasurer pursuant to K.S.A. 20-2801, and any amendmentsthereto.
