44-606. Continuity and efficiency in operation of industries.It is hereby declared and determined to be necessary for the publicpeace, health and general welfare of the people of this state that theindustries, employments, public utilities and common carriers hereinspecified shall be operated with reasonable continuity and efficiency inorder that the people of this state may live in peace and security, and besupplied with the necessaries of life. No person, firm, corporation, orassociation of persons shall in any manner or to any extent, willfullyhinder, delay, limit or suspend such continuous and efficient operation forthe purpose of evading the purpose and intent of the provisions of thisact; nor shall any person, firm, corporation, or association of persons doany act or neglect or refuse to perform any duty herein enjoined with theintent to hinder, delay, limit or suspend such continuous and efficientoperation as aforesaid, except under the terms and conditions provided bythis act.
