41-708. Retailer must obtain liquor from licensed distributor;exceptions; penalties.No retailer licensed under this act shall purchase or receive alcoholicliquor from any source except from a distributor licensed under this actand having a place of business in this state, except thatalicensed retailer may purchase confiscated alcoholic liquor at a sheriff'ssale. Any retail licensee who violates thissectionis guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishedby afine of not less than $200, nor more than $1,000, to which may be added imprisonment fornot morethan six months, and the license of such licensee may be revoked asprovided by law.
