41-1111. Regulation of retail mark-ups; legislative findings.In the public interest and in order to promote the orderly sale anddistribution of alcoholic liquor, to foster temperance and to promotethe public welfare, the legislature finds: (a)That sales prices of alcoholic liquor sold by manufacturers and othersto distributors licensed in this state should be no higher than thelowest price for which the same is sold to distributors anywhere in thecontinental United States; and (b) that minimum mark-ups onalcoholic liquor sold by retailers licensed in thisstate should be determined and regulated by law.
