Article 11.--GENERAL PROVISIONS RELATIVE TO CASUALTY, SURETY AND FIDELITY COMPANIES

      40-1119.   Same; false or misleading information; penalty.No person or organization shall willfully withhold information from, orknowingly give false or misleading information to the commissioner, anystatistical agency designated by the commissioner, any rating organization,or any insurer, which will affect the rates or premiums chargeable underthis act.If the commissioner finds that any person or organization has violated thissection, the commissioner, after notice and the opportunity for hearing, mayimpose a penalty of not more than $500 for each such violation. If thecommissioner determines that such violation was willful, the commissioner mayimpose a penalty of not more than $2,000 for each such violation. Suchpenalties may be in addition to any other penalty provided by law.
