Chapter 31.--FIRE PROTECTION Article 7.--STATE FIRE MARSHAL COMMISSIONED INSPECTOR ACT

      31-704.   Inspectors, qualifications and term ofappointment.(a) An employee may not beappointed as a commissionedinspector unless such employee: (1) Is a fire inspector 1, or higher; and (2)has successfully completed the Kansasbuilding fire safety class.

      (b)   An employee may be appointed as a commissioned inspector for a term notto exceed one year. Uponthe expiration of the term, an employee may be reappointed as a commissionedinspector.
