25-716. Plurality of votes to govern question submitted election.(a) Notwithstanding the fact that the provisions of law may not have beenfully complied with in noticing and conducting a question submittedelection and so that the real will of the people may not be defeated by anytechnical irregularity of any officer, whenever the greater number of voteswere in favor of a question submitted, the question shall be deemed to havecarried and likewise if the greater number of votes were against a questionsubmitted, the question shall be deemed not to have carried.
(b) "Question submitted election" means any election at which a specialquestion is to be voted on by the electors of the state or a part of them.
