25-4315. Same; election; public inspection ofstatements.The secretary of state shall provideeach county election officer in the state or in theelection district ofthe state officer sought to be recalled with onecopy of thestatementof the grounds for recall included in theapplication and one copy of the statement of notmore than 200 words made by the state officer sought to be recalled injustificationof such state officer's conduct in office. The stateofficer sought to be recalledmay provide the secretary of state with such stateofficer's statement within 10 days after the date the secretary ofstate gave notificationthat thepetition was properly filed.Each county election officer shall maintain such statements for publicinspection.
