Article 1.--MARRIAGE

      23-107.   Forms for licenses, issuance; photocopy to applicant; computergenerated licenses.Forms for license shall be furnished by the secretary of health andenvironment and shall bephotocopied and issuedwith the photocopy to the applicant therefor for delivery to the personwho performs themarriage ceremonyafter the judge or clerk or the district court has recorded the requiredpersonal information as provided by K.S.A. 23-106 and amendments theretofor the original marriage license being issued.Such photocopy shallclearly be marked as "DUPLICATE." The secretary may approve the use of anautomated system whereby the marriage license form is computer generated. Insuch instances, the court shall comply with prescribed specifications as setout by the secretary to ensure uniformity across the state.
