21-3807. Compounding a crime.(a) Compounding a crime is accepting or agreeing to accept anything ofvalue as consideration for a promise: (1) Not to initiate or aid inthe prosecution of a person who has committed a crime; or (2) tointentionally conceal or destroy evidence of a crime.
(b) Compounding a felony is a severity level 8, nonperson felony.
(c) Compounding a misdemeanor is a class A nonperson misdemeanor.
