336.14 NOT APPLICABLE TO CONTRACT SERVICE. The provisions of this chapter pertaining to the establishment of a library district shall not apply to any area receiving library service from any city library, unless the petition for a library district, in addition to the required signatures of electors, is signed by the governing body of the area receiving library service under contract.
