331.557 DUTIES RELATING TO VEHICLE REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATES OF TITLE. The treasurer shall: 1. Issue, renew, and replace lost or damaged vehicle registration cards or plates and issue and transfer certificates of title for vehicles as provided in sections 321.17 to 321.52. 2. Collect, pay to the state, or refund registration fees as provided in sections 321.105 to 321.156. 3. Collect the use tax on vehicles subject only to a certificate of title and on manufactured housing as provided in section 423.14 and section 423.26, subsection 1. 4.
