327G.22 RAILWAY CROSSINGS NEAR MISSISSIPPI RIVER. When in the construction of a railway it becomes necessary to cross another railway near the shore of the Mississippi river, each shall be so constructed and maintained at the point of crossing that the respective roadbeds thereof shall be above high-water mark in such river; but where the crossing occurs within the limits of any city, the council may establish the crossing grade.Section History: Early Form
