222.63 FINDING OF SETTLEMENT -- OBJECTION.
A board of supervisors' certification utilizing the central point
of coordination process that a person's legal settlement is in
another county shall be sent by the board of supervisors to the
auditor of the county of legal settlement. The certification shall
be accompanied by a copy of the evidence supporting the
determination. The auditor of the county of legal settlement shall
submit the certification to the board of supervisors of the auditor's
county and it shall be conclusively presumed that the patient has a
legal settlement in that county unless that county disputes the
determination of legal settlement as provided in section 225C.8. Section History: Early Form
