141A.10 IMMUNITIES. 1. A person making a report in good faith pursuant to this chapter is immune from any liability, civil or criminal, which might otherwise be incurred or imposed as a result of the report. 2. A health care provider attending a person who tests positive for the HIV infection has no duty to disclose to or to warn third parties of the dangers of exposure to HIV infection through contact with that person and is immune from any liability, civil or criminal, for failure to disclose to or warn third parties of the condition of that person.Section History: Recent Form
