        91.10  POWER TO SECURE EVIDENCE.
         The labor commissioner, or the commissioner's designee, may issue
      subpoenas, administer oaths, and take testimony in all matters
      relating to the duties required of them.  Witnesses subpoenaed and
      testifying before the commissioner or the commissioner's designee
      shall be paid the same fees as witnesses under section 622.69,
      payment to be made out of the funds appropriated to the division of
      labor services.
