668.9 - INSURANCE PRACTICE.

        668.9  INSURANCE PRACTICE.         It shall be an unfair trade practice, as defined in chapter 507B,      if an insurer assigns a percentage of fault to a claimant, for the      purpose of reducing a settlement, when there exists no reasonable      evidence upon which the assigned percentage of fault could be based.      The prohibitions and sanctions of chapter 507B shall apply to      violations of this section.
