637.701 APPLICATION OF CHAPTER TO EXISTING TRUSTS AND ESTATES -- CHAPTER PREVAILS. This chapter applies to every trust or decedent's estate on and after July 1, 2000, except as otherwise expressly provided in the will, the terms of the trust, or this chapter. Notwithstanding any Code provision to the contrary, the provisions of this chapter shall prevail over any other applicable Code provision.
