633.412 WHEN CLAIM NOT AFFECTED BY STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS. A claim shall not be barred by the statute of limitations if the claim was not barred at the time of the decedent's death and is filed against the decedent's estate within four months from the date of the decedent's death.
