633.397 - SALE AT PUBLIC AUCTION.

        633.397  SALE AT PUBLIC AUCTION.         In all sales of property at public auction, the personal      representative shall give such notice, in such form and manner, and      to such persons or parties, as the court may prescribe.  If no      provision for notice is made by the court, the notice shall be      published once each week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper      of general circulation in the county where sale is to be held, the      last publication to be not less than one day nor more than seven days      before the day of sale.  If the property to be sold is located in      more than one county, the sale may be held and notice given in any      one or more of said counties.  Unless otherwise provided by order of      the court, the notice shall state the time and place of the sale and      describe the property to be sold.  Proof of service of the notice      required shall be filed before confirmation of the sale.
