626.55 FAILURE TO GIVE BOND. If such bond is not given, the officer may refuse to levy, or if the officer has done so, and the bond is not given in a reasonable time after it is required by the officer, the officer may restore the property to the person from whose possession it was taken, and the levy shall stand discharged.
