        501A.222  CANCELLATION OF CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY.         1.  A foreign cooperative may cancel its certificate of authority      by delivering to the secretary for filing a certificate of      cancellation which shall set forth all of the following:         a.  The name of the foreign cooperative and the name of the      state or other jurisdiction under whose jurisdiction the foreign      cooperative was formed.         b.  That the foreign cooperative is not transacting business      in this state and that the foreign cooperative surrenders its      registration to transact business in this state.         c.  That the foreign cooperative revokes the authority of its      registered agent to accept service on its behalf and appoints the      secretary as its agent for service of process in any proceeding based      on a cause of action arising during the time the foreign cooperative      was authorized to transact business in this state.         d.  A mailing address to which the secretary may mail a copy      of any process served on the secretary under paragraph "c".         e.  A commitment to notify the secretary in the future of any      change in the mailing address of the foreign cooperative.         2.  The certificate of authority shall be canceled upon the filing      of the certificate of cancellation by the secretary.
