468.347 - TREES OUTSIDE OF HIGHWAYS.

        468.347  TREES OUTSIDE OF HIGHWAYS.         When the roots of trees and hedges growing outside a highway      obstruct the ditches or tile drains of any highway, the board of      supervisors may acquire the right to destroy such trees in the manner      provided for taking private property for public use.  Ornamental      trees adjacent to any dwelling, orchard trees and trees used as      windbreaks for a dwelling house, outbuildings, barn or feedlots,      shall be exempt from the provisions of this section.
