461A.20 STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION -- DUTIES. The commission may call upon the state department of transportation for the services of at least one competent engineer, who shall, under the direction of the commission, proceed to work in conjunction with it in carrying out the true spirit and purpose of this chapter.
