461A.18 - JURISDICTION.

        461A.18  JURISDICTION.         Jurisdiction over all meandered streams and lakes of this state      and of state lands bordering thereon, not now used by some other      state body for state purposes, is conferred upon the commission.  The      exercise of this jurisdiction is subject to the approval of the      department in matters relating to or in any manner affecting flood      control.  The commission, with the approval of the executive council,      may establish parts of the property into state parks, and when so      established all of the provisions of this chapter relative to public      parks apply to the property.
