455B.383 - POWERS AND DUTIES OF DEPARTMENT.

        455B.383  POWERS AND DUTIES OF DEPARTMENT.         The department shall:         1.  Establish such rules pursuant to the provisions of chapter 17A      as are necessary to protect the public from unnecessary exposure to      hazardous substances.         2.  Develop a comprehensive plan for the prevention, abatement and      control of hazardous conditions within the state.
