452A.69 - HEARINGS BEFORE STATE AGENCY.

        452A.69  HEARINGS BEFORE STATE AGENCY.         Hearings before a state agency authorized under the provisions of      this chapter may be held at a site in the state as the state agency      may direct.  The state agency shall have the power to issue subpoenas      including subpoenas duces tecum and to require the attendance of      witnesses and the production of books, records and papers.  In the      event any person shall refuse to obey subpoena, or after appearing      refuses to testify, the state agency shall certify the name of the      person to the district court of the county where the hearing is being      held and the court shall proceed with the witness in the same manner      as if the refusal had occurred in open court.
