        8A.103  DEPARTMENT -- PURPOSE -- MISSION.
         The department is created for the purpose of managing and
      coordinating the major resources of state government including the
      human, financial, physical, and information resources of state
      government.
         The mission of the department is to implement a world-class,
      customer-focused organization that provides a complement of valued
      products and services to the internal customers of state government.
