        13A.2  ESTABLISHMENT OF OFFICE AND COUNCIL --
      COORDINATOR.
         1.  The office of the prosecuting attorneys training coordinator
      is established as an entity in the department of justice.
         2.  The prosecuting attorneys training coordination council is
      established to consult with and advise the attorney general and the
      coordinator on the operation of the office.
         3.  The attorney general shall, with the advice and consent of the
      council, appoint an attorney with knowledge and experience in
      prosecution to the office of prosecuting attorneys training
      coordinator.  The prosecuting attorneys training coordinator shall be
      the administrator of the office of the prosecuting attorneys training
      coordinator.  The coordinator's term of office is four years,
      beginning on July 1 of the year of appointment and ending on June 30
      of the year of expiration.
         4.  If a vacancy occurs in the office of prosecuting attorneys
      training coordinator, the vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired
      portion of the term in the same manner as the original appointment
      was made.
         5.  The attorney general may, with the advice of the council,
      remove the prosecuting attorneys training coordinator for malfeasance
      or nonfeasance in office, for any cause which renders the coordinator
      ineligible for appointment, or for any cause which renders the
      coordinator incapable or unfit to discharge the duties of office.
      The prosecuting attorneys training coordinator may also be removed
      upon the unanimous vote of the council.  The removal of a prosecuting
      attorneys training coordinator under this section is final.
