        13.6  ASSISTANT FOR HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT.
         The attorney general may appoint one assistant attorney general to
      perform and supervise the legal work of the division of child and
      family services of the department of human services, and in such
      event the salary and necessary traveling expenses of such assistant
      attorney general shall be paid from the appropriation to said
      division, and upon request of the attorney general the director of
      the department of human services shall provide and equip a suitable
      office and the necessary secretarial assistance for such assistant
      attorney general.
