11.7 - STATE AUDITORS.
11.7 STATE AUDITORS. The auditor of state shall appoint such number of state auditors as may be necessary to make such examinations. Said auditors shall be of recognized skill and integrity, familiar with the system of accounting in county, school and municipal offices, and with the laws relating to the county, school and municipal affairs. Each auditor shall give bond in the sum of two thousand dollars, conditioned as bonds of county officers, which bonds shall be approved and filed as bonds of state officers. Such auditors shall be subject at all times to the direction of said auditor of state.Section History: Early Form
