Chapter 12. Condemnation of Property Located in Indiana by the
United States

Authority of United States to acquire property by eminent domain
Sec. 1. If the United States wants to acquire title to property in
Indiana for any purpose, the United States may acquire property by
eminent domain under IC 32-24 and applicable federal law.

Consent of state
Sec. 2. Before the United States may acquire land under this
chapter, the state must give consent to the acquisition.
